Big Lottery funding through the ‘Reaching Communities’ programme has enabled two community workers to be employed by Riverside School to develop the project, a Director of Community Engagement and a Community Organiser.

The project will be managed by a steering committee, led by Riverside School, with a broad-based resident membership, as well as outside expertise and input from key partners. This will be particularly important in the formative stages of the project, before the Community Development Trust (CDT) is in place.

A broader advisory group will also be convened in order to ensure that all residents are connected with the project and have the opportunity to become more involved as the initiative develops.
